COVID SOLUTIONS

INTELLIGENT distribution module (IDM)

​The purpose of the intelligent distribution module, hereinafter IDM, is to increase capacity, easily and safely, optimizing the use of existing respirators in hospital centers.
The small dimensions and low weight of the IDM allow the health care capacity of hospitals and / or Temporary Intensive Care Units to multiply x2 rapidly during the current pandemic COVID-19 period caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The IDM is designed to be connected to current respirators, using the ventilator air outlet as an inlet to the IDM and with two air outlets to supply two patients simultaneously with a single ventilator in a controlled manner.
The new IDM is connected between the ventilator and the patient tubing system, the main features of which are:
  1. Each of the patients in the group who are using the IDM, receive in each inspiration wave, the adequate air volume.
  2. Each of the patients in the group who are using the IDM receive uncontaminated air.
The device we are presenting is equipped with a visual and graphical control method of operation, to ensure that the values ​​are, at all times, within the range previously adjusted by the healthcare provider.
