La Fou Sedatex has implemented a rooftop photovoltaic installation to reduce the energy consumption of its industrial activity and move towards a more efficient and sustainable operating model. The project makes use of the available rooftop space to generate renewable energy and optimize resource usage.
The system has a peak power capacity of 78.7 kWp and includes 138 solar panels, generating 95,721 kWh of clean energy per year. This performance enables the installation to achieve 26% self-consumption, reducing reliance on grid electricity. In addition, the system delivers an annual reduction of 31.7 tons of CO₂, reinforcing the company’s environmental commitment.
