Altafulla Mar Hotel has implemented a rooftop photovoltaic installation to reduce its energy consumption and move towards a more sustainable operating model within the hospitality sector. This system contributes to covering part of the hotel’s energy demand, particularly during peak occupancy seasons.
With a peak power capacity of 51.2 kWp and 94 solar panels installed, the system produces 75,900 kWh of renewable energy per year. This results in an annual reduction of 26.25 tons of CO₂, supporting the hotel’s commitment to lowering its environmental impact.
The installation achieves 11% self-consumption, allowing part of the generated energy to be used directly on-site.
