Agroalimentaria de Savassona S.L. has implemented a rooftop photovoltaic installation to reduce the energy consumption associated with its agri-food activity and move towards a more efficient and sustainable energy model. This project supports the use of renewable energy in an industrial environment linked to the primary sector.
The system has a peak power capacity of 50.77 kWp and includes 94 solar panels, generating 64,917 kWh of renewable energy per year. This performance allows the installation to reach 25% self-consumption, reducing dependence on grid electricity. In addition, the system achieves an annual reduction of 21.49 tons of CO₂, reinforcing the company’s environmental commitment.
